We represent regular people who have suffered financial losses at the hands of their financial professional.  Our clients include teachers and senior retirees.  We have several live proceedings pending and are investigating several more.  Students are involved in each aspect of our clients’ cases, from interviewing the client, determining whether a claim exists, filing a claim, and prosecuting the claim throughout the arbitration process (including discovery, negotiation and hearings).

Former students say the following about their time in the Investor Advocacy Clinic:

“I predict that the Clinic will be one of the most valuable classes I will take and I am glad that I took advantage of the opportunity when it presented itself.”

“This last semester, I was able to interview potential clients and research potential claims; real people with real claims.  I was able to see what goes into deciding whether to bring on a new client and how to build a case.  These experiences make for a great transition between law school and the practice of law.  I would recommend the Clinic to anyone who is looking to round out their law school learning experience.”

“I know that my Clinic experience will make me a better law student now, and someday a better lawyer. I would recommend the Clinic to any law student that seeks to become an effective practicing professional.”
