corbinMost law school classes do not give students practical experience. That is why the Investor Advocacy Clinic is such a great opportunity.  The Clinic allows students to gain “real world” experience while learning the ins and outs of representing investors in actions against their brokers.  This last semester, I was able to interview potential clients and research potential claims; real people with real claims.  I was able to see what goes into deciding on whether to bring on a new client and how to build a case.  These experiences make for a great transition between law school and the practice of law.  I would recommend the Clinic to anyone who is looking to round out their law school learning experience.
